Transparent guidelines regarding booking amendments, cancellation fee tiers, and refund settlement.
The 30% advance deposit paid at the time of reservation is strictly non-refundable. This covers non-recoverable hotel allocation commitments, chauffeur reservation permits, and island operational arrangements.
Cancellations must be communicated officially in writing by the primary lead traveler or booking agent via email to [email protected]. The effective date of cancellation will strictly be the date and time timestamp when the written notice is received by Pearl Trips Lanka operations desk.
If a confirmed booking is cancelled, charges will be calculated based on the total tour quote cost (excluding the non-refundable deposit):
No partial refunds, compensations, or credits will be issued for any unused segments of a tour, including missed hotel stays, unutilized private chauffeur days, pre-booked national park jeep permits, or scenic train tickets due to delayed flights, illness, or voluntary changes of itinerary made by the guest during the trip.
If Pearl Trips Lanka is compelled to cancel or alter a tour due to Force Majeure events (such as natural disasters, government travel bans, or civil unrest), our team will make every reasonable effort to reschedule your itinerary without penalties. In cases where rescheduling is impossible, payments will be refunded minus actual expenses already paid out to local suppliers and third-party reserves.
